Who likes to rock climb? If so, please share with the rest of us your favorite rock climbing walls in Houston. Which ones are best for advanced and which ones are better for beginners?

A little late of a response but I can answer this one.
There are 4 good places to climb in Houston, and they are all about the same price, around $15 without gear.
In the south is Stone Moves, a beginer to medium gym. This one is in Leauge City off FM 518 and I-45.
In the north is another Stone Moves, this one is medium to advanced. It is off 1960 near 249.
In the west is Texas Rock Gym, an easy to advanced. It is on Cambell Road off of I-10.
And in the center is University of Houston Rock Wall, this one is the medium to extreme. You really can only climb up on this one and it is at least two times as tall as any of the others.
I keep hearing there is a wall in some Bally Total Fitness or something but I have never found it.

Me, me, me! I tried indoors before. Will this be outdoors?

Sorry no outdoors, at least not yet. To do that you need to travel to the Austin area, which I'm not against. I do have all the equipment but I'm not lead certified so I can't set a route. Of course there is always bouldering with no equipment required.
I try to do indoor climbing at least once every two weeks if you are looking for someone to climb with.

Let me know too. I've wanted to get more into rock climbing, so far I have only done a little indoor.

I'm out of town next week, but a group of us could get together the week of July 20th to do some indoor climbing if people are interested. The best location is probably Texas Rock Gym off I-10; it's the most centrally located and good for all levels. I can post more details if ya'll want.
Alternatively if people really want to climb right now I'm free tomorrow.

Since we have so many interested in climbing now how about we set something up.
How does Saturday afternoon at 1pm sound for everybody? I'm also good to do it on a weekday, but I don't know how work schedules and traffic would work out for everybody. But if people want a weekday I say let them have a weekday!
The best location would be Texas Rock Gym, you can get prices and directions at http://texasrockgym.com/ The general location is I-10 west off Cambell Rd (in between 610 and Beltway).

I can't climb this saturday afternoon. But, I did find out about the other climbing wall. It is at the new Lifetime Fitness in Town & Country, and it is 3 stories.

I'm also up for rock climbing. I did a little bit at an indoor wall back in UK. Let me know what day's? A week night works for better than a weekend.

I'm good to climb any day, anytime. Rather than me setting a date and time, how about ya'll set the details and you can count on me being there. Just let me know with a little heads up.
FYI, I work and live close to the 1960 rock gym so that's my preferred place on weekdays. Weekends I'll go anywhere.
