The places I've played in Houston are:
Chancellors racquet club in SW Houston: Membership $53/month individual; $75/month, couples
-Chancellors had 4 racquetball courts last time I was there and was one of the main places to play racquetball in the early to mid 90s. I used to be a Junior member there and now it's too far to drive to and the neighborhood is not as safe as it used to be
Jewish Community Center in SW Houston: Not sure about the membership fees.
-I've played here a few times but it's been a while. I only remember there being one court and a little claustrophobic.
24 hour fitness - Active off of 90/59 in Stafford(now closed):
-Played here recently b/c it was always open. Only had one court but very few people played or even knew where this place was.
24 hour fitness - Super Sport in midtown: Super Sport membership required fees vary
-one pretty nice court and a young professional crowd. I've played here once but this will be my main racquetball court b/c it's the only one I have a membership to.
The Downtown Y is pretty popular but I've never played there but if you want to play good competition I guess that's the place to be.
If anyone would ever like to play sometime message me and we'll set something. I'm at weak intermediate level right now and can play at 24 hour fitness in midtown.
