Okay, I'm definitely heading to a haunted house next Friday evening, 10/16. Would be game for organizing it as an event but I need recommendations! I haven't been since my old college days, so I need help picking a really good one that would be fun for everybody wanting to join. Anyone?

Ok, so talking with some friends my plans are to hit Nightmare on the Bayou Friday 10/16 and then head for some refreshments on Washington Ave after. Perfect since they're almost walking distance from each other. I'm game for making this an event, but not sure how to go about that.. April? :)

Please try to post this soon if you're going to set it up for Friday so you'll have a chance to get some signups.

Alright guys and gals, I got busy last weekend and at work and completely slacked at getting this ready for an event, so I'll just keep it here in the forum. I'm thinking about meeting up around 8:30 p.m. this Friday. If anyone wants to pre-party early and carpool you're more than welcome to park at my place which is minutes away and have a beverage or two before heading out :) After the haunted house, we can party it up on Washington around the corner. Message me or post here if you're interested. I think this could be a lot of fun

Ok, here's the officially unofficial plan: 7:30PM meet up at my place for pre-party and to carpool for those interested. 5816 Kansas St, 77007.
9PM meet at Nightmare on the Bayou off of Studemont & I-10 next to the Party Barn to purchase tickets and prepare to get scared! It's literally located just off a real cemetery, so should be fun!
After the haunted house, we're off to the REALLY SCARY event of the evening as we head over to Washington Ave and start a pub crawl ;)
Message me or call my cell @ 832-259-7211 if you're interested in meeting up with us and so I'll know about how many to expect at mi casa for the pre-party. If you can't make the pre-party feel free to call me after and I'll be glad to give you an update on where we're at as the night progresses. I hope to see a few of you out there!!!

Just wanted to take a quick sec and thank everyone who made it out, was a last minute ordeal but an awesome turnout for such short notice! Special thanks to Carlo for driving the BEAST. Had so much fun that I'm trying to organize an official Halloween event, so we'll see how it goes stay tuned.
