Hi,
I've just signed up after moving from the uk a week and a half ago. Just wondered if someone could help me out with the best places to go for a good time and to meet people on a fri / sat night?

It really depends on the area in which you live. There are TONS of places to go and meet people. In addition, several of our members meet pretty much weekly, so check the event calendar as well as these forums if you're bored :-)

Well if you're looking for general areas to meet new people, I'd suggest Mid-Town and Washington Ave. Both areas have a variety of bars/lounges/clubs to hang out and meet new people in.

Read the Houston Press. A free newspaper you can get most anywhere, or look it up online.
You have to explore wherever area you reside it. Get out and drive around, look at what's nearby.
