EVENT UPDATE:
Hey everyone,
I am close to picking a location for our January Monthly Party and am taking suggestions for an area of town or a place to do it at. So let me know if you have some preferred places in mind. I want to finalize it by this weekend. I was thinking the Midtown area or somewhere inside the loop.
Also, along with Juan, we have a new city director John who is going to host and setup all our monthly parties starting February. Along with a friend of mine April who is moving to Houston and going to help with future events also. So look for a more busy calendar after this month. Including also a monthly business oriented happy hour networking events that John and another friend of mine Louis will be hosting. Juan also has plans for some charity events and volunteer opportunities.
Hopefully, I can make it down again too but most likely I will come down for our February party and have some promotional material and marketing cards to hand out then.
We have 77 people signed up as interested so far and once I get a place setup I am going to work to promote it more and send an email to everyone. So we'll expect a good turnout for our first event of 2008!

Montly Party January 25th 2008
Hey, my name is John Snelson and I am the event director for our January evening at the Flat. I wanted to take a second and say hello and tell you that I look forward to meeting each of you at the event. If you have not met Kim Coyne I’d like to introduce her as well. Kim is the event leader and also the person that made this event possible for us. Please feel free to email either of us if you have further questions about the event.

EVENT UPDATE:
Hey everyone,
I'm sending this reminder on behalf of John, our event host. Our Monthly party is this Friday Night at The Flat from 6:00 to 9:00 and we have 170+ RSVPs so far. For those wanting to come early, John will be there around 5:15. Also, for those wanting to make it a late night, we'll plan on staying there or going somewhere else later in the night for those who are interested.
We will have $1 off drinks happy hour special along with FREE appetizers (so you can come right after work and not have to worry about dinner).
When you arrive John will be at the door greeting people and should have a YAP sign somewhere also. So he will direct you to the area we are hanging out at. We are expecting a good turnout for the evening and one fun party.
John is hosting this party but Juan is also going to be helping get events going as usual along with my friend April who just moved down to Houston and is planning on attending and looking for ideas on events to host.
