Just wondering if anyone would be interested in having or doing a pub crawl? I put one on for my friend's 30th b-day a couple of years ago, and it was a total blast! There are a lot of fun, less known places downtown and in walking distance of each other, that makes it easy. Just an idea... |

I did alot of pub crawls with the Dallas YAP. The Houston YAP will be teaming up with another group (sports/networking) on a few pub crawls in the next few months :-)

Club Monkey/Sports Monkey is the group we're teaming with .. :-)
If you'd like to host a YAP Pub Crawl, pick a date & go for it! We are always looking for new Event Leaders! Those of us that have been around for awhile will help you promote to make your event a success!! :-)
We can do local pub crawls (walk to each location), or bus-driven pub crawls (if we get enough signups). On the bus one, the fee would cover your spot on the bus as well as beer/beverages on the bus between locations - this allows us to hit bars in different areas & have fun in between! I've been on both types & if you're a girl (like me.. duh), walking in heels is not so fun, so a more casual event for comfy shoes if local would be my preference :-)

I'm definitely in for it! Sounds like fun. I agree that it might be good to do before it gets too hot, but if we did the bus (instead of hiking from place to place) it probably wouldn't matter as much. Either way, I'm not picky. :) |

Would like to get this thing planned. Maybe try for August sometime. Really good pub crawls take some planning. April - how do we get the Sports Monkey people involved and what are the details about getting the party bus - costs, min people, etc? Do you already have a tenative plan? |
