i'd recommend the corkscrew, the tavern, sherlocks, the red lion, somewhere in west u, or even richmond arms.

What about Red Lion or Richmond Arms? I've never been but have been meaning to go. And if I can meet a crowd there that'd be nice :D.

I like both the Red Lion and the Richmond Arms, but they aren't really that great to host a rowdy crowd of folks. Those places are better suited for sitting down for a pint and having a conversation. Just my opinion.
