Review:
This place has wifi, board games, coffee, wine, and a huge section of beer. All of this is packaged in a laid-back atmosphere, with an eclectic crowd. Within walking distance of Agora, you have a bar (Poison Girl) and another wine/beer/coffee establishment (Brasil).

I've only gone once, it was a wednesday night. It was a really cool place, fun atmosphere. At 10pm they have a belly dancing show, it was really cool, it did get super croweded though.

"Agora is one of those places I wish was within walking distance. It's the type of coffeehouse you think up in your head, with couches, books, a cozy upstairs, and actually GOOD coffee.
The only thing I had to complain about--and this is to be expected just like a bar, I suppose--was the CLOUDS of smoke in the place. I understand people like to smoke while they drink coffee and relax, and that's cool, but it was so bad I could barely breathe and wish there were better ventilation at least.
I'd still go back, though. It's so, so excellent for just lounging either alone or with good friends."

"When I lived in Houston this place was my "happy place."
A great two story house that has been converted into a large, but cozy, cafe. The coffee is good, but their hot chocolates are simply amazing. The barista does something with milk, chocolate chips, and a whisk. Then turns around a gives you the best hot chocolate ever.
If you're not in the mood for coffee they also have a great selection of beer and wine. Their pastry/food selection is lacking, unless you want baklava, they've got plenty of baklava.
Food and drink aside, this place oozes ambiance. Plenty of mismatched tables & chairs, flickering candles, and a ton of Euro and indie magazines lying around for the browsing.
They also have a belly dancing night!"
