hey! im new to the site and in what may or may not be a unique situation. im not actually in miami -yet! im very interested in moving to miami but am not in the position to currently. i graduated from law school in may and have been looking for work (any kind of work) since then (actually, ive been looking since way b/f then, but i digress :P). i joined the miami group to try and make some contacts/meet some ppl and start building some sort of base for myself while i make my way down to the palm trees and sandy beaches :) so basically, any suggestions, pointers, tips, warnings, leads, etc would be greatly appreciated. where should i move? whats a good way to get your foot in the door in terms of jobs? what are some down sides to living/working in miami? you know, stuff like that. and of course, itd be nice to get to know some of you folks :)

to wrap it up, write me things!! dont make me feel like a loser b/c my post got 274 views and 0 replies. really. that would suck and i cant handle any more rejection right now. :P

Right now, it's not easy for anyone to find a job. There are 73,000 people unemployed in Miami Dade county right now, and another 62,000 in Broward. There are also 75% less available jobs, so you need to have tons of experience, be bilingual, and willing to really pound the pavement.
