Hello. I write from Pirates of the St Lawrence, the fastest growing cricket club in North America and the most multi-cultural cricket club in the world. We are a social club in Montreal with men and women of 39 nationalities - everything from Austrian to Parsi Zoroastrian.
Every summer weekend we host friendlies against touring teams from Boston, New York, Vermont, Philadelphia, Ottawa and Montreal. We have our own amazing ground sandwiched between a chocolate factory and a volcano, with a beer tent and bbq, so the whole family is happy.
Come winter, we play friendly indoor cricket from Nov-May, and even have an snow cricket tournament on Ile Saint Helene.
We have all levels - it's all about having fun, reconnecting with the best game in the world, and spreading it to new people. No equipment or experience necessary.
