I was just going to see if anyone likes the idea of going to the Thunder roadhouse cafe for dinner. They are supposed to have great food. I called and they said they have off track betting each day from Remington Park, live band and biker night on Thursdays. $10.00 buckets of beer on Friday. What does everyone think? I would like to try it!? Comments, suggestions, concerns...anyone...anyone.... |

Yes that is! Do you know the place? I dont wear chaps either, and dont have a tattoo to show either!! LOL

Never been to it (only to the former Emerson Biggins next door), but it's a paper airplane's throw from where I work, so it might be fun to try sometime.

This sounds like fun to me. I just bought a Harley and am taking delivery the week I get back from Europe. I will be all set to leather up and ride to the bar and meet you guys!

I visited Thunder Roadhouse last week (on foot coming from work a fraction of a mile to the east) - was very nice ... obviously a biker-oriented place ... some of the barstools are actually motorcycle seats :-)
Pretty good beer selection, including Beck's, for example, as well as many better known American and Mexican beers ...
Plenty of TV screens, mostly sports and also betting oriented (this is an off-track betting location e. g. for horse races)
Haven't tried their food (as I was only there while waiting for a friend from the OKC Tall Club to pick me up and take me to Old Germany in Choctaw for a Tall Club dinner), but according to a menu I saw at work, they seem to have primarily American (burgers etc.) and Mexican dishes.
They have plenty of patio seating also, and when the weather is right, they open what looks like a large garage door between that and the inside.
Would be kewl to try this for dinner sometime, such as any weekday evening, with the Yap Club if others are interested ... |

My Harley came in last week so if the weather is good I will ride out and meet you guys there some weekday afternoon. It is definately a biker bar but they will happily accept anyones money! There food is good too.
