Hi everyone. I'm starting up a mountain biking club for yap members in the arizona region. I'm collecting interest samples from everyone and anyone who might want to try riding the bellrock pathways for novices to moderate. Later, if interest is high enough, I can merge the yapclub bikers into the Verde Valley riding club at http://www.vvcc.us club. Please drop me a reply if interested. I'll be out with a small group this sunday. I'd be happy to meet anyone or give anyone a lift. I live in Cottonwood. The temps are in the low 60's between 6 and 9am. from 9-12pm it will be around the mid 80's. Sedona is located about 2.5 hours north of phoenix on I-17 and sits at a cool 4500 ft above sea level. I have a tricycle I've been meaning to try out on the open trails. It has a "Snoop Dogg"-style hydraulic suspenson so it should be able to handle the rugged Sedona terrain. It weighs about 16 tons, however, so I may need you to help me transport it up from Tempe. Thanks! |
