GrooveFest I know this looks like a Boomer thing, but with all the attention the 60's are getting (40th anniversary of Woodstock, the Beatles box set and Rock Band release, etc.) it makes me nostalgic for a time I don't even remember!  I love to look at the old muscle cars and the huge luxury cars from the 60's, so the car show on Oct 4 (1-4 pm) will be really interesting. The concert, dance lessons/contest and costume contest on Oct 11 (4-7 pm) should be a blast! I've seen BackBeat and they are not only really good, but are more than a Beatles tribute band. They're more of a 60's rock tribute band. They do a set of Beatles songs and then they do a set of hits by bands like the Stones, the Who, the Kinks, etc.
