Located in the Stone Oak Plaza shopping center, Sushi Zushi offers sushi and traditional Japanese cuisine in an upscale environment. The Asian influence is immediately evident in the restaurant's decor. Warm colors and rich wooden paneling creates a comfortable atmosphere. Wall-mounted artwork composed of sake bottles along with curious black and white photos of cooking utensils and Zen gardens complement the conspicuously lit sushi bar. Sushi Zushi's eclectic menu features food presentation worthy of an art gallery or museum. The most popular of this edible art is the toreado roll -- an avocado, crab and seared pepper-stuffed roll served with a spicy sauce. Meat lovers may well enjoy the rich tastes of teppan yaki -- grilled chicken, beef, shrimp and savory vegetables served in portions large enough for sharing.
