Hey everyone!
I am pretty new to San Antonio (moved about 4 months ago) and I do not know many people at all...other than the few I work with! There are so many things I have been wanting to go check out but haven't really met many people to go do things with. I love to go to some fun things coming up and be able to meet new people. I am open to pretty much anything!

I am also new to San Antonio (for work) and don't know many people in the area. If you want to hang out sometime let me know. I want to explore San Antonio but feel odd going by myself.

Hey,
Welcome to the group.
For both of you what do you like to do? I would throw out some suggestions or add them as events. I plan to go on the hike tomororw with the group and maybe talk about planning some other events. Ideas are something for Halloween, A trip to nightmare on Grayson street. Another group here is San Antonio does things like a tubbing trips, canoe trips, trip to plano ballon festival.
We have done wine tastings, bar crawls, just about anything is open. Post what you like and someone or you can make it happen.

I also moved here a little while ago (this April) from sunny California. I'm hoping to explore the region a bit more and make some new friends while I do it. =D

I'm not that new, but I understand your post. It does feel odd. I sometimes brave it alone and always have a good time with this group. Invite me too.

I'm on the same boat. I've been wanting to join a gym, or a dance class, or something of the sort. If any of you know of anything like this, please let me know. I wish i knew more people here to do stuff with. I am in my early twenties and literally everyone I work with is either way older or married with children. :/

I am up for pretty much anything.... I love being outdoors whether its camping, hiking, water sports, etc. I've also thought about finding some dance classes but I haven't really looked for any yet, so if you hear of anything too let me know!

Hey guys, I know being in a new city can be a little tricky. But have no fear, there is actually plenty to do in San Antonio. I was born and raised here and stay very active. If it is a bar, a gallery showing, house party, or community event, I'm all over it. I would love to put a group together to go do something fun. In fact, I'm co-DJing a house party this Friday in what I'm told is an old abandoned house. In the mean time, pick up the San Antonio Current (alternative newspaper, or go to sacurrent.com). Another great publication as a nightlife guide is Study Breaks. Google their website and there is a breakdown of drink specials for each night at the more popular bars. That is just for starters. Any more questions hit me up here or my cell 210.216.1730
