Anyone intrested in playing Volleyball? Let me know if you are. I am looking for somewhere around Thousand Oaks and Jones Maltsberger that we can get together and play. There are currently 4 sand volleyball leagues in town two on highway 16 (bandera rd) and two near mcallister park. The drive bar an grill is on the south side of town and the original fatso's is about a mile inside loop 410. I play two nights at twc park (formerly ancira) and one night at fatso's north. Fatso's nets are higher, the sand is slower to run through and you are required to ref a game, but they serve food. Those with solid skills or coming from indoor will likely prefer twc while beer league players will likely prefer fatso's.
On a side note, I play in the intermediate 4's league and I'm always look for female setters or backrow players of either sex.
