Best Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras West of the Mississippi

You don’t have to go to New Orleans to experience Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras!  Enjoy an evening of live Carnaval entertainment benefiting the performing artists, on Tuesday, February 5 at Roccapulco, 3140 Mission Street near Cesar Chavez, in San Francisco. Sponsored by Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc/ Carnaval San Francisco, the exciting lineup includes an array of Carnaval performers:
•    Aluna (Colombian dance band)
•    Hot Pink Feathers (a crowd favorite)
•    Caribbean Roots and Culture (taste of Trinidad)
•    Fogo Na Roupa (Brazilian bateria and dancers)  

And to top it off, the first ever King and Queen preliminary competition for Traditional and Contemporary/Fusion styles.  Finalists will go on to compete at the King and Queen Competition on March 29 at 1015 Folsom, SF.
