Assertively quirky, the Vogue Room is a love-fest for all things Champagne. A dining area that doubles as a full-on lounge boasts a smooth glass and bleached wood design scheme. As slick looking as any of its uptown rivals, first impressions of this neoteric joint are encouraging.

With this dynamic lounge, the brothers have found their niche: a spot with all of the essential elements to lure late night culture vultures. Showcasing a staggering selection of by-the-bottle sparklers, ranging from $90 to $500, from Veuve Cliquot and the Prestige Cuvées (Moët & Chandon's Dom Perignon and Louis Roederer's Cristal) to the non-vintaged (Krug's 'Grand Cuvée), Vogue is a bubble event. However, with no tasting notes, you’ll have to rely heavily on server assistance.

Vogue features champagne-based cocktails, including French Kiss #75, a martini with gin, lemon juice, and champagne; the signature My Red Dior Scarf, made with cognac, orange juice, and champagne; and the Holiday, made with vodka, grenadine, and, of course, champagne. The menu, a colourful parade of tapas plates, offers standouts like the bright shrimp rolls with chili sauce: they practically sparkle in your mouth. Also admirable are oyster shooters with lemon and vodka mignonette, or the lightly briny pork and shitake dumplings with cream sauce.
